Previously with W Hotels Worldwide, Heather Plimmer is now the Director of Design for Austin’s Block 21 development. Working hand in hand with the project’s design architect, Andersson-Wise, and drawing from her experience in hospitality design, Heather and her team created the interiors for the hotel’s guestrooms, suites and public spaces as well as the interiors for ACL Live at the Moody Theater, the Trace Restaurant and the Away Spa.
Following rave reviews for her work at the W Hotel in Austin, Heather launched her own design firm, Heston Studio, in early 2012. It serves as a full-service interior design firm specializing in both commercial and residential design for clients from California to Connecticut.
